A visit from the girl next door...

We know... Last week the girl next door, Nuna, wrote that she paid us, Bebbe, Bans, Belle, Barbie and Birgit, a visit and was complaining that there was not much playing because we were still so much baby...

Now, two weeks later, our favourite guide Ales let her pay a visit again and proofed on camera that for sure we can also play! One of us was even so brave to chase Nuna around the kennel... :-) But then it is also really safe to escape under Mother Donna's wings again!

Floppy ears, it runs in the family...

About six weeks old and I, Nuna, start to get quite a bit of attention from the guests already so early in the season.

Of course that might have something to do with my floppy ear... It looks like I inherited it from my uncle Ana... only the other way around :-)

Otherwise I had also an exciting week, because I was visiting the neighbour girls Barbie, Bella, Bans, Bebbe and Birgit. Because I'm only child and nobody to play with (except for my mother who I always tease with biting her legs...) I was quite excited, but a small disappointment, they are still so small little babies not really possible to play with them.

Abiti, following into his father's footsteps...

Yes, I made it! After weeks of hard training they finally decided I'm probably the one to follow into my father's (Black) footsteps!

The only problem was to find the right partner for me... At the moment they choose to give me Susan, my father's partner. But she is also not the youngest anymore so we have to see if she can keep up with my speed the whole winter :-)

And of course I still have to learn a lot before I'm about as good as my father, but at least they think I showed the right skills: I'm quiet before we start, go lay down when we have break and I'm able to keep about the same speed during the whole trip... I only have difficulties when leaving the kennel, I'm not quite sure yet when is the right moment to start. Susan always seems to wait for me and I want to wait until Susan starts... But when the guide finally strongly "advice" us to start running, we gooooo...

I also have one speciality, which I think is quite funny: When I cooled down my nose in the snow I shake my head with my mouth open. It makes a really funny sound :-)
